I’m Travis. Born in the state of Florida, I departed for distant lands at the ripe age of 19. I arrived in Portland Oregon where I studied at Portland Community College acquiring a bachelors degree in Multimedia focusing on film (Post Production), photography, and Macromedia flash development. I started my delve into IT through a call center technical support role, each time raising the bar and my positioning on what the acceptable norms were for role I’ve held. I’ve worked in various positions along the way for Adobe, Microsoft, Netflix, Amazon, Oregon Health and Sciences University, The Oregon Clinic, Apple, Squarespace, Smarsh and Playco to name a few. My current position is Sr. Manager, Endpoint Automation & Management for Electric managing a team who handles over 30,000 endpoints, and 900 server instances.

You can find me outside of the bright glow of my desktop screens flying down the road on my Vespa 300 Super Sport or Volkswagen Golf Harlequin. In the last 2 years I’ve spend my time working remotely from every corner of North America in my converted Mercedes Sprinter van. Beyond the walls of North America, I’ve traveled across the globe to places like the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and South Africa. No matter where I go, you can find me strapping inline skates to my feet as I spin and flip my way through the streets and skateparks like I have for the last 30 years. Xbox gamer, Pokemon master, avid explorationist, constantly tinkering, learning everyday the value of patience.
